Mrs. Christina Lee, Member of the Council of Caritas–Hong Kong and Patron of the Caritas Fund Raising Campaign, passed away peacefully at home on 12 February 2022. We express our deepest sorrow at her passing and extend condolences to her family.

Mrs. Lee was keen on public welfare and had been giving tremendous support to Caritas for decades. From the 1970s to 1990s, she took up the chairmanship of Caritas Fund Raising Campaign four times. She was also the Chairman or Honorary Advisor of the Caritas Charity TV Show for years since 1996.

Mrs. Lee was not only committed to raising funds for Caritas’ development, but also showed her concern to our services for elderly. She often visited residential care homes, and sponsored and participated in activities organized for the elderly. The extension wing of the Caritas Harold H W Lee Care and Attention Home, which was built in 2009, was named after her in recognition of her contributions to Caritas.

We express our sincere gratitude and respect to Mrs. Lee, who was selfless, charitable and always beautiful. Once again, we extend our condolences to her family.
