The Rehabilitative Support Network has been renamed to the Elder Support Link in April 2009 to reflect its focus to serve the elderly and carers.  Through the sale of rehabilitative equipment and other basic necessities, provision of mutual support groups, training of caring skills, introduction of community resources, etc. at 14 service units throughout the territory,   the Elder Support Link aims to enhance the self-care ability of the elderly and the carers’ knowledge and commitment in caring their dependent elders, which ultimately achieves the spirit of “ageing in place”.
