Established in 1979 to ensure the needs of the elderly and their carers are met, the service provides a wide range of services, including Elderly Centres, District Elderly Centres, Day Care Centres, Care & Attention Homes, Integrated Home Care Service, Enhanced Home and Community Care Service for Elders, Hydrotherapy Service, Elder Support Link and Ning An Scheme.
