Caritas Rehabilitation Service was established in August 1976. Throughout the years, Caritas Rehabilitation Service developed a full range of service types that cater to the need of persons with intellectual disabilities at different ages. In 2004, we started providing residential care, vocational rehabilitation services and community-based support programmes for persons with mental illness. At present, Caritas Rehabilitation Service operates 24 service units, 14 supportive service programmes and 4 projects on vocational rehabilitation training, providing comprehensive care for more than 6,000 persons with intellectual disabilities, persons with mental illness and their families. The Service is also dedicated in promoting social integration in the community.
