Caritas - Hong Kong (Caritas) express deep sorrow over the fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po which caused multiple deaths and injuries, including the loss of a firefighter on duty. We extend our deepest condolences to the deceased, the injured, and their families.

We also offer sincere care to affected residents and are committed to providing support. Caritas Fu Heng Home - Tai Po provides emergency temporary accommodation for elderly residents in need. Accommodations for two-person, four-person or six-person families have been reserved at Caritas Bianchi Lodge, Caritas Oswald Cheung International House, and the Caritas hostels located in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island for the affected residents.

In addition, Caritas provide emotional support services. Individuals in need may contact the 24-hour Caritas Family Service Crisis Line at 18288 (answered by professional social workers) or contact other centres under Caritas.
