The Caritas Charity TV Show (明愛暖萬心), organized by the Friends of Caritas, will be telecast on Saturday, 18 July 2020, on TVB Jade from 8:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. The show is more than just a fund raising event. It is an effective platform through which the public can better understand the diverse services provided by Caritas - Hong Kong.
Hong Kong has encountered unprecedented uncertainties and challenges due to the outbreak of COVID-19. The economy has been adversely affected as a result. Many people feel emotionally upset and are under the threat of losing their jobs. They worry about their livelihood in addition to the lack of disinfectant products.
Thanks to kind-hearted donors and supporters, Caritas can provide a series of tailor-made services in face of the pandemic. Virus is pitiless, but it is believed that with a loving heart and a caring mind, we can fight the virus with mutual support.
