2023.04.22 Service Expo in Tsuen Wan and Kwai Tsing District To showcase Caritas' achievements over the years, the Social Work Services organized a service expo in Tsuen Wan and Kwai Tsing on 22 April at the Discovery Park in Tsuen Wan. It was officiated by Ms. Wong Siu Fun, District Welfare Officer of Tsuen Wan and Kwai Tsing, and Mr. Chan Yuen Sum, Chairman of the Tsuen Wan District Council. The colourful event included a celebration ceremony, service showcase, exciting performances and interactive booth games, which attracted many participants. Service users from various units in Tsuen Wan and Kwai Tsing showed their talents in singing, dancing and playing musical instruments. Apart from enjoying the performances, the audience had the opportunity to experience virtual reality (VR), engage in handicraft making and taste cookies, savouring both visual and culinary delights.

2023.05.19 Caritas Gallery The past seven decades have seen many significant events at Caritas, which created precious memories for generations of its members. However, during the 1950s and 1960s, resources and technology were limited, and the organization underwent challenges of time and relocation, resulting in a relatively scarce collection of historic photos and memorabilia. Fortunately, with the kind assistance of colleagues from different services and departments, extensive consultations and dedicated collection efforts, the anniversary exhibition was able to showcase photographs and items of historical significance.

2023.06.03 Step for Love - 2023 ICBC (Asia) & Caritas Charity Walk The "Step for Love - 2023 ICBC (Asia) & Caritas Charity Walk" was successfully held on June 3, 2023 (Saturday) at the Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club. The event has gained title sponsorship from ICBC (Asia), full support from the Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club, as well as generous contributions from various friendly organizations and members of the community, raising over HK$2M.

2023.06.25 Service Expo in Central and Western District The Service Expo in Central and Western District took place on 25 June. Over a hundred families and children attended the event, showing their support to Caritas and witnessing how it has adapted to the changing times to serve the whole community. The programme for the day was diverse and engaging, including an orienteering event “Journeying the Central and Western District", a "Caritas Bus Parade", a service exhibition "Caritas Showtime" and an inauguration ceremony "Illuminating Hope".

2023.07.08 2023 Caritas Charity TV Show The annual fundraising event "Caritas Charity TV Show", organized by Friends of Caritas, was successfully held on July 8, 2023. The lighting ceremony was officiated by Mr. Paul Chan, GBM, GBS, MH, JP, the Financial Secretary, Most Rev Stephen Chow Sau Yan, S.J., Bishop of Hong Kong, Dr. Joseph LEE, GBS, OStJ, JP, Chairman of Caritas Charity TV Show and Wofoo Foundation, Dr. Jimmy Jim, Managing Executive Officer and Head of Global Markets Department, ICBC (Asia) Limited and Chairman of the 2023 Caritas Fund-raising Committee, Mr. Nicholas Ng, GBS CBE JP, Chairman of the Caritas Board of Management, Mr. Andrew Chan, Honorary Advisor of Friends of Caritas and Ms Theresa Ng, JP, Chairlady of Friends of Caritas.

2023.07.29 70th Anniversary Thanksgiving Mass and Gala Dinner Another event to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Caritas Hong Kong was the "70th Anniversary Thanksgiving Mass and Gala Dinner", held on July 29, 2023. We would like to express our gratitude to friends and partners from all walks of life who celebrated this significant milestone together with us.
