Whom Do We Serve
Caritas Hospitality Services comprising of Lodge, Hostel, and Food & Beverage services, originated when the Roman Catholic Church had shouldered the responsibility to serve the deprived in the 1950s.
Caritas Food & Beverage Service initially grew from provision of relief food, then to canteens, restaurants, catering services for both in-house and outside events for service users, grassroots workers, students and community members.
Caritas Hostel Service was launched in the early 1960s in reponse to Sai Kung fishermen's need for shelter. Services expanded to provide inexpensive shelter to young workers, students and those who need a place to stay in Hong Kong. There are totally five hostels under this Service in different locations of Hong Kong.
Caritas Lodge Service provides reasonably priced accommodation for travellers. The two lodges, together with all the cater outlets, also act as a training ground for students from Caritas Bianchi College of Careers and Caritas Institute of Community Education.
Lodge Service
Caritas Bianchi Lodge, opened for business in 1980 with 90 guest rooms. Located in Yaumatei, its convenient location in the city is most suitable for travellers from all over the world and visiting pilgrims.
- Caritas Oswald Cheung International House, opened for business in October 2006 with 119 guest rooms. Located in Tin Wan, Aberdeen, the origin of Hong Kong. It is most suitable for guests who come for meetings or for any purpose.
Hostel Service
The five hostels of the Service are located in different locations in Hong Kong providing simple and economical accommodation.

Food and Beverage Service
Caritas catering outlets provide good quality and value-for-money food & service to lodge guests, neighbors, church members and members of our social centres. They are:
- Caritas Restaurant & Fast Food (Caritas House, Caine Road)
- The two lodges café (Yau Ma Tei and Tin Wan)
- Caritas Restaurant also provides in house banquet/ outside catering service and food delivery service to any parties and organizations at very reasonable prices.
