About Us

Introduction

Friends of Caritas (FOC), which is a charitable institution wholly and exclusively to promote the aims and objectives of Caritas-Hong Kong, is made up of a group of dedicated volunteers who support Caritas mission. FOC was incorporated on 27 August 1996 under the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance as a company limited by guarantee and not having a share capital. It has also been included in the list of approved charitable institutions under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance.

Objectives

Taking an independent and active role in organizing fund raising activities (e.g.TV Show, Charity Run, Musical, Concert etc.) and providing supportive professional advice to Caritas-Hong Kong, FOC aims to promote the mission of Caritas in the spirit of “Love in the Service of Hope”. Through organizing a variety of activities, FOC strives to increase the general public's awareness, thus their participation in and support to the manifold services that Caritas provides to the community.

2026 Caritas Charity TV Show The Caritas Charity TV Show has come to a wonderful close! Huge thanks to the TVB production team, our tireless backstage crew, performing artists, the Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra, and our officiating guests for an unforgettable night. We're especially grateful to the generous donors who committed their major gifts ahead of the show, and to every viewer who called in to pledge. Because of you, hope doesn't stop here — it grows and carries on.
