Being one of the signature fundraising events of Caritas – Hong Kong, Caritas Charity Bazaar is held once a year in six different locations throughout Hong Kong. The objectives of organizing the Caritas Charity Bazaar are beyond simply raising fund. It also promotes the partnership between Caritas and parishes, and is also a co-operative channel among Catholic schools, parishes and Caritas services to show family spirit. Caritas Charity Bazaar involves about 12,000 enthusiastic volunteers and attracts over 80,000 visitors to its many stalls offering a variety of interesting games, entertainment and gift items. It is a charity function suitable for families.

We sincerely appeal to the commercial, industrial and service sectors as well as individuals for donation in cash or in kind (such as housewares and gifts, apparel, toys and garment or other gifts for sale at Caritas Charity Bazaar). You may also support this meaningful event by providing voluntary services or other means of support, e.g. publicity, transportation, entertainment programmes etc.

Arrangement under Inclement Weather

• When Typhoon Signal Pre-No. 8 or No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, the Bazaar will be cancelled.
• The Bazaar will be discontinued immediately if Typhoon Signal Pre-No. 8 or No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued after the Bazaar is commenced on Sunday.
• In case of cancellation of the Bazaar, it will be announced through website of Caritas – Hong Kong and “Caritas Charity Bazaar"
