Caritas Caine Road Social Centre, at which the headquarters of Caritas – Hong Kong is situated, is located in the Central Mid-levels. Since its inauguration in 1963, this Centre has been providing the community with a wide range of services including medical & dental services, elderly service, youth & community service, rehabilitation service, family service, hostel & catering services, car-repair service, printing service, kindergarten, community hall, etc. As for the Local Service Coordination Office of Caritas Caine Road Social Centre, it serves as Caritas liaison with Cathedral Parish. In addition to house management for the Centre and logistical support to the fund-raising activities, this office is also responsible for provision of janitorial services for Catholic Diocese Centre and the Cathedral Compound which are in the vicinity of Caritas House.

Caritas Caine Road Community Hall
Caritas Aberdeen Social Centre was established in 1962 to provide services for the community of the Hong Kong Island South. In 1999, the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust promised to grant us funding for re-development. One of the Centre’s buildings was re-developed to a 25-storey building which was completed by 2005. The new building was then re-named “Caritas Jockey Club Aberdeen Social Centre”. The centre’s existing services include: community centre, youth out-reaching social work, integrated family service, school social work, dental clinic, lodge & catering services, and community hall. Caritas Aberdeen Social Centre Local Service Coordination Office is responsible for centre administration, fund raising, coordination and liaison work within the Hong Kong South West Deanery. It also provides janitorial services for the centre & parishes.

Caritas Jockey Club Aberdeen Community Hall
Caritas Kennedy Town Social Centre was officially opened in 1965 to provide services for the community of the Hong Kong Island West. With the generous support from the donors, we were able to erect a new building annexed to the original building of the Centre. The new building was completed by 1999. The building cost was funded by the Misereor Social Aid Fund of Catholic Bishops of Germany and the family members of the late Madam Mok Cheung Sui Kun. The centre’s services were thus able to extend to meet the needs of the community. Its existing services include: community centre, hostel, rehabilitation service, nursery school & understanding adolescent project……etc. Caritas Kennedy Town Social Centre Local Service Coordination Office is responsible for centre administration, fund raising, coordination and liaison work within Hong Kong South West Deanery. It also provides janitorial services for the centre.

Caritas Kowloon Social Centre was established in 1966, the centre is located beside St. Teresa’s Church and provides its services for Kowloon residents. The Caritas Central Kowloon Social Centre Local Service Coordination Office is responsible for centre administration, management, fund raising, coordination and liaison work within Central Kowloon Deanery. It also provides janitorial services for the centre. Moreover, it is a multi-service centre, providing family service, youth & community service, library & study room, school social work, community hall, hostel and restaurant etc.

Caritas Social Centre – Kowloon Community Hall
Caritas Ngau Tau Kok Social Centre was established in 1970, to provide services for the community of East Kowloon. Caritas East Kowloon Local Service Coordination Office is responsible for the administration of the centre, fundraising, coordination and liaison work between East Kowloon Deanery, and provides janitorial services for the centre and parishes. Centre current services include: Community Hall, Youth and Community Services, School Social Work Service, Dental Clinics, library and study room.

Established in 1979, Caritas Yaumatei Social Centre provides career training and hospitality services for the community, and rehabilitation service for persons with moderate-grade mental handicap. Caritas Southwest Kowloon Local Service Coordination Office is responsible for centre administration, coordination and liaison work within the Southwest Kowloon Deanery. It also provides janitorial services for the centre. Since July 2013, the Kowloon Social Centre and Yaumatei Social Centre has been merged together. It also helps on centralizing the resources and delivering a better service.

Established in 1962, Caritas Tsuen Wan Social Centre was a multi-service centre providing youth and community services, education and hostel services in the region. In 2013, the Centre re-development project was started and the construction of a new and pleasant ten-storey building, now known as Caritas Jockey Club Tsuen Wan Social Service Building, was completed in September 2017. The new building houses 4 Caritas service units namely family, rehabilitation, elderly as well as youth and community services. Caritas Local Service Coordination Office continues its tasks in liaising with parishes and Catholic schools, coordinating and promoting partnership between Caritas and the Catholic community, organizing fundraising activities, carrying out Centre administration and providing janitorial services for the Centre.

Caritas Shatin Social Centre is multi- service Centre, established in 1977, to provide Community and Higher Education and Social Work services for Shatin residents. It is located adjacent to St. Alfred’s Parish and Immaculate Heart of Mary School (10 minutes walk from Tai Wai rail station and 5 minutes from Che Kung Temple station); Caritas Shatin Social Centre Local Service Coordination Office is responsible for centre administration, fund raising, coordination and liaison work within North East New Territories Deanery. It also provides janitorial services for the centre.

The centre is a licensed campsite, providing accommodation for 25 persons and an activity room for 30 persons. The center has an air-conditioned meeting room (included hi-fi equipment), outdoor playground and bed rooms equipped with hot-water facility, micro-wave oven, refrigerators and barbeque gadgets. Situated on top of a small hill near the Tsing Yi MTR station, it is a convenient venue for hosting meetings, retreats, overnight camp as well as other social and religious activities.
